About
The Friends of Lochend Park (FoLP) are a local community group, helping to improve the park and the local environment.
Lochend Park is situated in the Leith area of Edinburgh. It has play areas and a pleasant walk round the loch, which is a haven for wildlife.
Project
The Friends of Lochend Park received a grant to buy the old police box at the north-east gate. It has been painted and refurbished as a store and mini resource centre for school visits to the park. It houses a small collection of nature exhibits and police memorabilia. Access by arrangement with FoLP.
